Greatest bounder

I know this has been asked many times before. The one in our previous site was about bow type bounders. This time around I would like to ask who do you think the greatest bounder is? Put in your vote and this will be judged by the community. Lemme throw mine. I think it is Vharigar.

For me, I am pretty much torn up between Tazia and Heddravalis.

Tazia

Pros

-Can shoot up to 36 inches (mb-b trick)
-Can shoot for 8 damage in a single turn (k-bow, mb-b trick)
-Can soar up, avoiding ground melee threats
-Can use the "Rodeo Trick" when based at ground level
-Can still mb if she looses bound
-She looks really good in a thong!!!

Cons

-Needs k-bow to be efficient
-Mostly requires 2 turns to set-up the bound
-Like most cavalries, kill the mount slow down the rider (unless mount is soaring hehehe)
-Only has 1 target and 6 range
-Since she usually has k-bow she is a walking/soaring time bomb (this may also be a pro hehehe)

Heddravalis

Pros

-Bound on the first three clicks
- 2 targets
-Can soar up, avoiding ground melee threats
-No push-over in melee combat and even has charge crushing blow @ 4 damage
-Does not need a relic to shine
-Has 4 ranged damage
-Has toughness


Cons

-No pierce
-Mediocre bounding range of 19
-Looses bound after 3 clicks

These 2, IMHO, are generally the best bounders for their respective factions and are a forced to be reckoned with in our beloved game...

Feel free to enumerate points about these two not mentioned in the above statements.

Vithzerai

I have a top 3:

1st place: Cindrata
Insane bounding range rivaled only by Vithzerai. The best can opener in the game really. Sure her ranged damage is just 3 but she is after all one of the revolutionaries so the Crown of Khamsin helps in upping this damage plus her attack power as well. Her subfaction ability further accentuates her role as a solid shooter that even Vithzerai should fear. My Cindrata takes pride in her list of kills, including a 23 defense Vorgoth.

2nd place: Jadreen
Ghostform, Pierce and a decent bounding range. She has all the makings of an excellent assassin. Give her k-bow and she'll go to town (and blow it up if she decides to). When in a bind and it's of paramount importance that you hit a certain figure, her 'friends' can help augment her attack further for the price of a click of damage afterwards.

3rd place: Tazia
K-bow and mounted bound/bound makes her the hardest hitting bounder in the game for 8 to 10 or even 12 possible damage in one go. Only problem is that she is so fragile, her attacks are usually one-offs.

- 3 in deployment + 16in doubletime speed + 3in Book of Power speed Bonus + 12in Range = 34in Range and Cast Arc lightning for 7 range damage with a 14 attack rating!!!

Hehe. I thought we were talking about figs with innate Bound ability and not pseudo-bound If this is the case then the Iron Rain Hill Giant or GFD would be among the noteable 'bounders' in the game.

I'd Vote for Cindrata.

- The point cost is just right.
- The range is absolutely phenomenal.
- The Crown of Khamsin indirectly Improves her attack and damage.
- The Bloody thorn's subtraction to enemy defense is incredibly effective towards the Addition to the attack rating. The bandwidth for the rule of 3 is further exploited.
- Dodge

I can't argue with that she takes my vote 2

To be honest valantis is still a close 2nd to cindrata he also has bound pierce and 24" striking distance (stock lol)

-he can benefit from crown of khamsin and spirit armor too.
-he has an immune def type which in a shooting game helps cause there's only a few that can rival his 24" striking range MOSTof them are wand types namely vithz and tythania. (Cindrata also has 24").
-he can use bow type proficiencies that helps with adding range dmg or atk rating.
-he has 18 def with defend it may help out his fellow shooter cause they do not have very high def and 18 is a bit at par

Granted. But Valantis cannot reduce a target's defense value and is point cost heavy for a shooter. Not to mention he is ultra rare. And he does benefit from useful bow proficiencies.

Cindrata however is so versatile she can switch roles from shooter to harasser to beat stick instantly. Being a sword type, she can use Surge and/or Capture - 2 proficiencies in that game that could turn the tide of the battle. She is fast and has Dodge so she can also be an annoying harasser if she needs to. She has a reasonable point cost and relic friendly too. What more can I say?

Just adding Galeshi Sunsword on her alone sets her up easily as the hands down best shooter almost instantly. With it, you can't shoot her. Come up close? and she'll most likely capture your heart as well as most amazons do.

syndak can fly, bound and do melee and has toughness.
khan has perma toughness.
corpheus has good bound and melee and MI.
alment lan has quickness and dodge.
