One Faction... One Champion... All for Mage Knight glory!

Prepare for battle!!!




Warlords of Mage Knight!!!

Choose 2 Factions to use during the event:

- Apolcalypse
- Dark Crusaders / Necropolis Sect
- Atlantean Empire / Atlantis Guild
- Draconum
- Orc Khans / Orc Raiders
- Black Powder Revolutionaries / Black Powder Rebels
- Elemental Freeholds / Elemental League
- Elven Lords / Knights Immortal
- Shyft / Magespawn
- Solonavi
- Hero

From the 2 factions selected, choose your primary and secondary faction. Primary faction must have at least 5,000 pts inventory and secondary faction must have 2,000 pts inventory. "Inventory" means the total points of the figures that the player must have during the event (excluding any cards).

Example:

Nye chooses Dark Crusaders as his primary faction and Elemental Freeholds as his secondary. Nye must have at least 5k points worth of figures for his Dark Crusaders and at least 2k points worth of figures for the Elemental Freeholds at any given time during the event.

All participants will elect their WARLORD. It may be any Unique, LE or Champion from his PRIMARY Faction with a sword attack type. This warlord will lead in most scenarios and campaigns. A participant can’t assign an Order of 9 figure to represent any specific faction as “warlord” not unless the chosen primary faction is Shyft/Magespawn.

There will be no duplicate Warlord. Faction title holders on (Dec 20, 2014) will have the first dibs to choose their Warlord if there are more than one participant who chose the same faction as their primary faction.

Example:

Rino holds the ELEMENTAL FREEHOLDS title and chooses Gora Stormblade as his Warlord. Other participants can still choose the ELEMENTAL FREEHOLDS Faction as their primary faction BUT can no longer choose Gora Stormblade as their Warlord.

Mechanics:

- Scenarios and/or Campaigns will be posted every Tuesday of the week to give players ample time to prepare their army.
- Army build points may vary from 300pts - 5,000pts and will be announced every Tuesday along with the scenarios and/or campaigns.
- Standard MK Rules and MK Etiquette will be STRICTLY followed during the event (MK Consolidated Rules).


Faction Wars Ranking

1. Top rank will be based on the number of Wins versus Loss.
2. Tie breaker will be based on number of games played.
3. Draws will count as loss for each faction.
4. win/loss per game during tournaments and on the side will be included in the ranking as long as it follows the pure faction army build.

Entrance fee of Php 50.00 per player per week regardless of the venue. Proceeds will go to our monthly locker rent and the event prizes.


FAQ:

* Order of the 9 figures are legal.
* Mounts must have the same faction as the rest of the army.

Army Build Rules:

- The composition of the army list should be composed of Faction figures with DIRECT AFFILIATION to the Title being fought.
- Order Of the Nine (magespawn) are allowed for the army build since they become affiliated to the faction upon deployment
- Castle Pieces (No Faction but are NOT magespawn) are allowed
- Borrowing/Lending of figures and proxy cards are allowed.

I'm pretty sure the Solonavis will be well represented by the current Overlord - Celestial Striker and the Draconums by the Dragon lord himself. BPRs will surely swing the maul and the much awaited Apocalypse will hopefully rise from the depths of the earth to wage war on everybody!

Kick-off Mechanics!

- 800 points pure build from your primary faction.
- Warlord point cost and ANY Relic and Item that it will wield will not be included in your 800 army build points
- No other Unique, LE and Champion allowed aside from you Warlord.
- Adventuring company cards are not allowed
- 6 actions per turn; 1 of which MUST be assigned to your Warlord if it has no action token.
- Any figure eliminated or removed from the game that was not reanimated or summoned back permanently during that game can’t be used in succeeding rounds. Note that this will not apply to your Warlords - You can still use your warlord on your next games regardless if they were eliminated during the last game.
- MDFs, Castle pieces and Titans are not allowed.
- Over all kill points for the day will determine the ranking
- Pairing will be determined on the actual day.


Example:

Roy’s kill points for game 1 = 50pts, game 2 = 50 pts and game 3 = 50 pts.
Ralph’s kill points for game 1 = 40pts, game 2 = 80 pts and game 3 = 40 pts.

Ralph will be declared winner for the day since his over all kill points (160 pts) is higher than Roy’s (150 pts)

Announcement for the event prize!

Champion gets a Trophy and Php 2,000 cash plus the much coveted signature of being the best among the rest!

2nd placer gets Php 1,000 and a signature for being the 2nd placer!

The event will STRICTLY run for 13 scenarios for the elimination round and then the top 2 warlords will battle it out for the finals! Schedules and mechanics are definite (not unless the coordinator posts an update or revision BEFORE any game). Rules will be followed by all participants or they will just count as guests.

Posts in FB, MKPINOY or an official Txt to the coordinator will be acknowledged. Other than that, it will all count as guest stats. It's a voluntary event for the community but the process to have it in order must be in place

Kick off Battle Report

Pathis Arcana (Roy) proved too strong for the day winning all 3 games! Backed up by Book of lightning and massive damage spells such as Arc Lightning and Firestorm! The dracs nearly wiped out almost all armies and bagged the win for the day!

Cindrata (Rino) with the BPRs monstrous stomper and Judge Blacklock (Jasper) with his vampiric army tied at second place!

- Warlord point cost and ANY Relic and Item that it will wield will not be included in your 500 army build points. RELICS used by your Warlord during previous games will not be allowed moving forward

Example:

Kossak Darkbringer can’t use Blade of Dominance again for the entire elimination round.

- 1 Unique, LE or Champion will be allowed aside from you Warlord.
- 6 actions per turn; 1 of which MUST be assigned to your Warlord if it has no action token (optional).

Raydan Marz redeemed himself by sweeping all 3 games for day 2!!! An outstanding performance from Emperor Arvin with his Dark Crusaders! Swarm! Explosion! Undead! You name it!

Cindrata (Rino) with his triple dodge combo and the “warlordless" Elementals (Nye) which was supposed to be led by Kossak Darkbringer took the second spot!

We are still basing the ranking on the number of wins/losses. The new column are for the ff.:

Kill Points: Total kill points from day 1 up to present.

Warlords Killed: Total number of opponent warlords which was ACTUALLY KILLED by your warlord. Warlords killed by your nons or any effect from your army other than those direct hit by your warlord will not count.

A special token will be awarded to those who will top the KILL POINTS and WARLORDS KILLED after the finals

Vengeance Battle Report
January 10, 2015

Kossak Darkbringer (Nye) slayed 3 Warlords and ensured victory for the Dark Crusaders!!! Sweet  vengeance for the DC General! Surpassed the challenge from 2 “spell stasis” domain and maximized “vurga divide” for the win!  

Raydan Marz (Arvin) consistently secured 2nd place by eradicating the BPRs led by Cindrata (Rino) and a swarm of mancatchers and the vampiric crew of Judge Blacklock (Jasper)!

Most creative army award goes to Rino!!! See pictures posted in FB and start counting his mancatchers! Hahahaha!

Reinforcements Battle Report
January 17, 2015

An early death for Morathai didn’t mean that much… Pathis Arcana (Roy) together with Kenaz and Janus orchestrated a brilliant strategy to eradicate Kossak Darkbringer (Nye) in just one turn! The Elementals refused defeat at an early stage and rallied their trolls and hammered the dwarves! Janus kept on shooting his arrows and killed everyone on sight thus giving the dwarves the win!

Battle Cry - Battle Report
January 24, 2015

Deathspeaker Darq (Carlo) has joined the battle! Ranked as one of the top notch for the day! Eradicating Kossak Darkbringer and Caldera’s army to bag 2 wins! The Dark Crusader Prince proved he hasn’t lost his killer instinct in MageKnight!

Kossak Darkbringer (Nye) and Raydan Marz (Arvin) both with 2 wins as well still ranked tied at number one (1) in the over-all ranking for the event. Pathis Arcana (Roy) posted an all time record of 1,444 kill points for the day! Also, we were paid a visit by a young warlord by the name of “Zeus”! Accompanied by the dragon lord (Roger) himself! Though Caldera (Roger) only played one game, He gave Darq one hell of a fight!

Catastrophe - Battle Report
January 31, 2015

Raydan versus Pathis versus Kossak!!! All tied at 1 win! All emerged victorious! Pathis and company pulled off a win versus Kossak’s army with just 17 points! Kossak was able to cheat a sure loss winning against Raydan with 142 points! The game of the day goes to Raydan Marz! He was able to win by 445 points versus zero from Pathis’ camp and decapitated the head of Pathis Arcana!!!

Kossak Darkbringer and Raydan Marz still on top of the list with 9 wins each! Pathis Arcana is slowly creeping up but has 2 wins to go to tie up with the top warlords..

Kossak Darkbringer is still the over-all SLAYER with 5 Warlord heads and 4,785 kill points!

- 4 actions per turn; 1 of which MUST be assigned to your Warlord if it has no action token (optional).
-Participants must bring 3 domains (proxy is allowed but has to be listed in a paper before the game begins). These domains will be presented by both players after the set up (battlefield and army) and will be numbered 1-6 accordingly. One die roll to determine which domain will be used for that particular game. All 3 domains can still be used on the next game and so on.
