Cavalry attack bonuses and modifiers

Post by Guest on Mon Jul 01, 2013 1:23 am

I'm not sure if there's any revision from sigma or WK... Just want to clarify the ff.:

1. A warrior that can become a rider can use its attack bonus only when it is on a mount; this bonus
applies to all attacks that this warrior makes, regardless of what the warrior’s attack type is. (From Consolidated Rules pg 13)

This still applies right?

2. For a cavalry unit, the mount can add one attack value to the rider as "gang up" right? If yes, does this apply if the cavalry has no action token to start with or even with one action token?

1.This is correct. Riders may only use their attack bonuses when making attacks if they are a part of a cavalry unit (they are riding a mount). A dismounted rider cannot use their attack bonuses when making attacks.

2.Provided the mount has the sword attack type, it may add +1 to gang up. The cavalry unit must not have a token in order to use gang up.
