MK 2.0 rules ... back to normal builds with Elven Lords not being of the exact same faction as the Knights Immortals etc...

Just to clarify, even during our title matches, relics like Spirit Armor and Crown of Khamsin may ONLY affect 2.0 figs since the relic rules specifically stated the 2.0 faction and not the 1.0 faction. However in the case of Spirit Armor, all friendly figures will still get the +2 to range value since it specifically stated that this is for ALL FRIENDLY figures regardless if they are 2.0 or 1.0.

It's +2 added range to friendly gives it somewhat an edge over the Crown of Khamsin... but still I prefer the +1 to the attack.

Thanks for an overwhelming great attendance!!! 8 players came and had FUN fun FUN!!!

Even if I came at the venue much later... The bloodlust of the battlefield just completely overwhelms!!!

Again many our great thanks to THE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL STAFF at NEUTRAL GROUNDS for having us. Really, literally, honestly great folks especially the really hardworking sir Chuck and of course our great boss of a host sir Fred.

Returning players Israel and Mon duked it out on one table. Mon is quickly learning to harness the power of... evil with the swarm of the damned Deathspeaker Aerodon. Israel brought much joy and delight with the nostalgic yet very powerful MK 1.0 figures.

Main event was a classic 3 way Chaos fight on 2 tables. Anye, Bromknight, and Mon on Table 1 ; Rino, Roger, and Arvin on Table 2.

The Dark Crusader Anye brought to bear a thunder and lightning build. Thunderous rampaging Centaur Zombie hoofs and Book of Lightning bolt shots from above, with an ear breaking Explode undead for good measure. This army won him the round besting two equivalently very talented players Mon and Bromknight which fielded different twist magespawn summon armies from each other.

The Battle on Table 2 was a real exciting down the wire finish battle. Roger fielded his 3 man Niasmond Frontliner build, Arvin brought his Atlantean Raydan Marz and Magus Alment Lan army, and I brought out the BOL-BOL-Fumble-BOL Orc army. Now that battle was really intense... So intense in fact that it ended with a very close tally for points at the end game. Roger would have one if the call familiar Whelp was not demoralized. Surprisingly Arvin and I had an equal amount of points left on the hill. It was a deadlock. Ultimately Arvin won with the kill points but man oh man oh man it was close....

The Final Battle stage was between Anye and Arvin... Double A. In the end, Kossak Anye won with Old man Scholar Maleficius!
Big thanks to sir Bromknight Raymond for his Mechanoid contribution as top prize!!! Congratulations to ALL who played!!! the next one will be even bigger and better!!!

It was definitely a fun and successful tourney day yesterday! Congrats to Nye for nabbing the prize!

Indeed, the chaos match at our table was as close as it could possible get! I lost just because of a demoralized familiar and both Rino and Arvin had the exact total points inside the large center token. The only thing that determined the winner was the kill point for that single summoned dwarf in favor of Arvin!

Until the next game day guys! Remember also that we just have around 2 months to wait until the release of Resurrection!

@Roger Yup, our table match with Arvin was on of the closest and toughest matchups. I knew I should have been shooting those familiars of your's a lot more often for the points. Then again, If I did kill it then my next problem would be that it returns full health and only ensure your victory with a a non-demo full health call familiar. In all honesty I didn't really figured it would have come down to points and man oh man oh man was is it really close.

@arvin Kudos for coming up with 4 pieces of the most annoying yet powerful harassers (4 x weak prieskan warriors). These guys can dodge and rally back to good health automatically.

It is of course always awesome to see Raydan Marz in the battlefield and I am excited to see a new challenger to my Atlantean Empire Axis of EVIL come to power.

Hahaha see how dynamic and unpredicatable Orc army builds are. :-) yup that was one of the closest and really one of the hardest for me. So many dodge and toughness and not just toughness-toughness, I mean LURK-toughness to boot is simply more powerful. Great army, It was just the execution? which is of course completely understandable as this is the first time you fielded it.

Wait till you see my next Orc army... truly insane bro.

It was a great un-thought of army I've built yet. I just had a single relic (that easily became useless by the 2nd turn) and a bunch of nons that were overly dependent on their luck with the attack and dodge rolls.

Execution-wise, my major error was that I pushed them too much too early just to get at that summoner with the BoL ASAP. I'm just getting the hang of this kind of orc build so expect things to be different next time.

In any case, it was a very fun match and I look forward to that new crazy army of yours soon. Be wary of my new un-thought of army as well though.
