game 5 - July 13, 2013

Is the Overlord up for it? 

Game 5

DC’s Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile army vs Solonavi’s Oracle Daheia and Marenkar with Book of Lightning. The mercenary was outgunned by DC’s massive ICBMs with their version of BOL, Karrudans Bow and exploding zombies! Marenkar and Daheia were eliminated early leabing the solonavis faith hanging with 2 ghostform soulshredders. It was a tough one for DC’s range attacks but not for their exploding zombie! Weakened one by one, the soulshredders was forced to go down and bonestaff took care of what’s left.


Game 6

DC’s Batman, Robin and Batgirl vs Solonavi’s Superman and Green Arrow.

Kossak, Tazia and Aeradon’s hound clashed with Vextha and Heddy for game 6! Vextha wielding a galeshi sunsword infiltrated a hindering terrain close to the middle objective token posing an early threat to whoever comes close to it while Heddy maintained position at the back to give support to Vextha and made sure that Tazia won’t be able to hit her with a MB/B.. unfortunately, one solonavi drone came close within Tazia’s range for MB. Seeing the opportunity to strike, it was an all-out attack from the batcave straight to Justice League’s camp! MB hitting the drone with 5 damage and using the drone to leap and reach heddy at the back! 14 attack rate vs 20 defense… point blank was declared.. dice roll was released… and EFFIN tazia missed!!! Kossak and Hound, even in their wildest dream, can’t think of a way of reaching the opponents back end to help out tazia. Solonavis turn! Vengeance and all hits Tazia till demo and eliminated the Pegasus in a single turn. Kossak wielding BOD and Hound with Inferno, CoV and MSB positioned themselves at the center objective token to force Superman and Green Arrow to attack. The solonavis, with their speed advantage, came within striking distance. Batman and Robin rested and cleared their tokens. Bad move from Batman not dropping the BOD was used by the other camp to their advantage. An expected move form Superman, declared an attempt to capture Kossak and he did! Hound, anticipated that he can’t win against Vextha and Heddy if Kossak would be eliminated… desperation and all, took the last stand and attempted to capture Vextha.. needs 9 to grab him and he did!!! Freeing Kossak who then charged Heddy! The wounded solonavi bounder pulled back and attempted to eliminate Tazia (demo) still wielding the K-bow.. after a few calculations.. deemed not in favor to their side.. The overlord conceded the game. Ending the series at 4-1 in favor of the Dark Crusaders!
